[Myself, Kate, Pollyanna]
[After the tornado had hit the kitchen]
On Saturday, Kate took me into town again to show me the city. Exeter is VERY hilly, has lots of good shopping, and if you go to the right places (by car), it has amazing views!! -although I got no pictures of these amazing views because we were in a car and I don't like taking pictures of landscapes unless they're going to be quality. Here are some shots from the day:
[Some ruins right in the middle of new stores. It was very odd but cool to see!]
[Me showing off a cool door]
[Looking between the cracks of the door]
[The cathedral]
[The narrowest street in the world! - Parliament Street. It's only 25 inches wide!]
[Grady Street- The street that inspired Diagon Ally for J.K. Rowling in the Harry Potter series]
On Grady Street, we went to an amazing restaurant called Bill's for lunch. The inside has an awesome vintage/beach house feel to it. The menu and food were just as amazing as the decor!
All in all, my trip to Exeter was a lot of fun and it was great to see familiar faces after being in a new place for a few weeks. I'll definitely be back to visit Kate in time!
