It's that time of year again! For me and my family, it means putting the christmas tree up the day before Christmas (my mom is a busy lady), home made shortbread cookies, cats obsessing over the new additions of tree and presents in the living room, alcohol, and a christmas dinner that only my mom and brother really enjoy (I'm a picky vegetarian, my sister is just plain picky). Last year I skipped out on Christmas day early at about 1pm so I could get to the airport and go visit some family in England! I felt pretty bad but I was oh so excited. I spent two weeks over seas and it was amazing. So amazing I am now living there for a year. Once again, I feel bad for missing Christmas but, opportunities are calling! Even though my parents will just be sending me money for Christmas because shipping is too expensive to send gifts, I decided to make a Christmas list anyways. These are things I'll possibly buy with the money if I'm feeling rich enough!
2. Some RAPS jump tickets for Skydive Spain!! In March, I'm going to Seville, Spain for a week with the University of York Skydiving Club and I'm going to need all the money I can get to jump my heart out! My goal is to get my A-license there (that means I can free-fall from 15,000 feet by myself).
3. A compass tattoo on the inside of my lower arm. Possibly in white ink just so it's less noticeable. It'll be to remind me of my travels in Europe!
4. Some nice, warm cable-knit socks such as these ones from Republic.
5. 35mm film. This stuff is kind of hard to come by in my city and it's quite expensive!
6. A turquoise throw. My room in residence is bloody freezing!
7. A white Ipad 2 (the cheapest one). Bringing my big macbook pro traveling with me stresses me out! There would be nothing worse than getting it stolen. And it's terribly heavy. An Ipad would be perfect to trek around with.
8. The Get Into Focus Mug from Photojojo. It's just beautiful.
